Description
Position:
Seeking Science educator with competence in Chemistry. The applicant should have interest in STEM
education, experimentation, project-based learning, data-driven instruction and college readiness (e.g.
Advanced Placement and/or Dual credit Instruction). Must have the ability to challenge students to attain
high spiritual and academic achievement. An applicant with exposure to secondary or collegiate
educational experience preferred. Other duties include student supervision and sponsorship of student
extracurricular activities.
Qualifications:
• Practicing member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church
• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Counseling, or a related field, with a Master’s degree preferred
Requirements:
• Eligible for denominational teacher certificate
• Local Fingerprint and Background Check clearance
• Sterling Volunteers clearance
