Job Description

Pine Forge Academy, a premier Seventh-day Adventist boarding school, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of Recruitment to lead and manage the Academy’s student recruitment efforts. The ideal candidate will have a passion for Christian education and a strong commitment to the mission of Pine Forge Academy. This role is crucial in maintaining the Academy’s student body by developing and executing comprehensive recruitment strategies that attract mission-appropriate students from diverse backgrounds.


Responsibilities:
  • Strategic Planning:
    • Develop and implement a comprehensive recruitment strategy aligned with the Academy's mission to attract and retain a diverse and engaged student body.
    • Analyze enrollment trends and adjust recruitment strategies to meet enrollment goals.
  • Outreach and Engagement:
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective students, parents, and educational partners, including churches, feeder schools, and alumni.
    • Represent Pine Forge Academy at educational fairs, church events, and other recruitment venues.
    • Organize and lead campus tours, open houses, and other events to showcase the Academy’s offerings.
  • Marketing and Communication:
    • Collaborate with the marketing team to create and execute targeted marketing campaigns, including digital marketing, print materials, and social media outreach.
    • Develop compelling messaging that effectively communicates the unique value proposition of Pine Forge Academy.
  • Application and Admissions Process:
    • Oversee the student application process, ensuring timely and efficient handling of inquiries, applications, and admissions decisions.
    • Work closely with the admissions team to evaluate applicants and make recommendations on admissions decisions.
  • Data Analysis and Reporting:
    • Track and analyze recruitment data to assess the effectiveness of recruitment strategies and make data-driven decisions.
    • Prepare regular reports on recruitment activities and outcomes for the leadership team.
  • Team Leadership:
    • Lead, mentor, and develop the recruitment team, fostering a collaborative and results-oriented environment.
    • Coordinate with other departments to ensure a seamless experience for prospective students and their families.
  • Mission Alignment:
    • Ensure that all recruitment activities are aligned with Pine Forge Academy’s mission to prepare students spiritually, intellectually, physically, and socially for service to God and man.

Qualifications:
  • Practicing member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful recruitment strategies.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to travel frequently and work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
  • Commitment to the mission and values of Pine Forge Academy and the Seventh-day Adventist Church.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Education, or a related field; a Master’s degree is preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in student recruitment, admissions, or a related field, preferably within a private or faith-based educational institution.
  • FBI Fingerpring and Criminal Background Check and Child Abuse training clearances.
