Principal Job Description
The Allegheny East Conference is looking for a visionary leader that is knowledgeable of best practices in education and can continue to move the school forward. This person will inspire and coach the staff. The successful candidate is passionate about Adventist education, trustworthy, and has excellent interpersonal skills to manage and create relationships with multiple stakeholders including parents, students, board, and Allegheny East Conference of Education.

Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in education/elementary education
- Member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church in regular standing
- Minimum five years teaching experience
- Must possess denominational or state teacher certification. Candidates who do not currently hold denomination teacher certification must be eligible for denominational teacher/Administrative certification
- Local Fingerprint and Background Check clearance
- Verified Volunteers clearance
Preferred Qualifications
- At least three years as Principal or Assistant Principal at the PreK-8 Level •
- Advanced degree/certification in Educational Administration and Leadership •
- Experience working with a diverse population
