George E Peters School is currently seeking a dedicated and mission driven Instructional
Assistant to support the educational ministry of the school. The Assistant will work
collaboratively with the Lead Teacher and school administration to provide academic,
administrative and supervisory support that promotes a positive, Christ-centered learning
environment for all students with classroom related duties.

Responsibilities:
Able to provide academic support
Experience in managing a classroom
Experience in mentoring students in a Christ-centered environment
Flexible and a team player in supporting all areas in the school.

Requirements:
Practicing member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church
Fingerprint and Background Check State clearance
Sterling Volunteers clearance

Qualifications:
Requires a high school diploma
Prefers an associate degree, college credits, or teachers certification
Eligible for denominational teacher certificate
Prior teaching experience preferred
