Camp Danny Davis is an Allegheny East Conference summer camp program. We provide a
Christian environment where children can learn, have fun, meet new friends, and experience
Jesus. We are seeking team members who have a strong faith in God and enjoy having fun with
amazing kids to join our Task Force and fill other counselor positions!  In return, as you prepare
the grounds and serve as personnel for Camp Danny Davis, we will provide an opportunity for
you to develop a closer relationship with Christ,  make a positive impact on children, build
lasting relationships, while receiving leadership training.

Responsibility

• Task Force team members will be responsible for supervising and facilitating various
• recreational activities and field trips for campers
• Provide a safe and healthy environment, to ensure safe operations of a quality program
• as well as ensuring that campers are aware of rules and schedule of daily activities
• Will also assist in planning and implementing of daily activities and will take responsibility
• for supplies, equipment, and facilities as well as assist in daily maintenance of program
• areas to ensure safety and cleanliness
• Requirements
• Ability to work and interact with children, inspire confidence and enthusiasm and relate
• to children in a positive manner
• Provide the opportunity for campers to have the very best week of their life at Camp
• Davis by helping the camper to have maximum fun, meaningful relationship with
• campers and staff, exciting learning opportunities and a face-to-face encounter with
• Jesus.
• Ability to respond appropriately in emergency situations; able to act quickly, calmly, and
• effective
• Promote and actively participate in all camper activities and projects
• Be a team player, work effectively with co-counselors and collaborate daily
• Must demonstrate responsibility, punctuality, and dependability, integrity, and
• adaptability.
• Enthusiasm, sense of humor, patience, and self-control.
• Be available June 11 - July 27

Qualifications

• Be at least 17 years of age
• FBI/Criminal Background Check, PA State Police Check, and Child Abuse Clearances
• Sterling Volunteer clearance
