Position:

A principal/ teacher is one designated by the Superintendent of Schools, in collaboration with the
local school board. The person selected as principal/teacher serves in a capacity of principal and
teacher overseeing the day-to-day operations of the school and problem-solving issues as it relates
to parents, children and staff through conflict resolution. This individual will ensure that the
school is operating smoothly and effectively.

Requirements:
• Practicing member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church
• Achieved no less than a Bachelor’s Degree
• Local Fingerprint and Background Check clearance
• Sterling Volunteers clearance

Qualifications:
• Eligible for denominational administration endorsement
• Eligible for denominational teacher certificate
• Adventist K-8 school experience/training preferred
• Administrative experience and/or training preferred
• Prior teaching experience preferred
• Effective business management skills
• Effective interpersonal skills
