Job Opportunity for Youth Camp Worker
Responsibilities
- Assist with supervising and facilitating various activities for children and youth attending camp meeting
- Set up venue and activity stations for children and youth programs
- Provide a safe and healthy environment, to ensure safe operations of a quality program as well as ensuring that children and youth participants are aware of rules and schedule of daily activities
- Assist in daily maintenance of program areas to ensure safety and cleanliness
- May perform related duties as assigned
- Ability to work and interact with children, inspire confidence and enthusiasm and relate to children in a positive manner
- Ability to respond appropriately in emergency situations; able to act quickly, calmly, and effective
- Promote and actively participate in all youth and children's activities and projects
- Be a team player
- Must demonstrate responsibility, punctuality, and dependability, integrity, and adaptability
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- FBI/Criminal Background Check, PA State Police Check, and Child Abuse Clearances
- Sterling Volunteer clearance
- Must be available June 23 - July 9, 2024
- Estimated eight (8) hour workday
- Meals and Housing provided
